Collars
All collars are not created equal. Please check the item description to ensure that the collar ordered will fit your dog.
To measure your dog for a collar, use a flexible tape measure to take the measurement. Insert two fingers between the tape measure and the dog to allow room for a comfortable fit. Purchase the size collar that is the next largest to this measurement.
Before purchasing a collar for your puppy, please consider their growth rate. Adjustable collars are the best alternative for growing dogs.
Adjustable collars give you more range in fitting your pet.
Non-adjustable collars usually have a range of +/- 3/4"
Boas style collars are made with elastic. Do not order a boa collar that will fit too snuggly on your dog and make sure you remove the collar each and every day to prevent harm to your pet.

Clothing and Coats
Just as with people, doggie designers use different sizing scales. We recommend that you read all product information to ensure that you choose the correct size for your dog.
To measure "back" size, run a tape measure from the base of your dog's neck to the base of the tail.
To measure "chest" size, run a tape measure around your dog's chest directly behind the front legs and around the back.
Coats are measured by the length of the dog's back. Take this measurement as described above. If the measurement falls between two sizes, order the shorter length coat.
Clothes and sweaters require both back and chest measurements. Take these measurements as described above. If the measurements fall between two sizes, order the larger size.
